Here at Lighthouse Treatment Center we value each client as a unique and special individual, and do our best for each in the hope that they will receive all the blessings a clean and sober life can offer.
Perhaps the most rewarding part of our participation in the process of our clients recovery is to see them transform into happy, sober individuals with a new sense of joy and purpose in life.
Here’s a letter from a grateful client regarding his experiences at Lighthouse Treatment Center, and his gratitude for the care and attention he received. The success of our clients is what makes our efforts worth while!
This is the text of a letter from our former client Ryan who completed a 14 day residency program at Lighthouse Treatment Center recently …
To Lighthouse Treatment Center
Attn Docia & Carmen
Today I am 56 days clean and sober and have never felt better. Each day my life is getting better, just as the Big Book says, I am cleaning up all the wreckage from the past years of drinking and drug use along with rebuilding the relationships in my life. I am also working with my sponsor daily and we are currently on Step 3. I have been to 59 meetings in 56 days!
I owe a huge part of my current success to the Lighthouse. The entire staff helped me greatly, especially Steve! When I entered the Lighthouse, I immediately noticed Steve’s disciplined structure and knowledge of the programs. I told myself that was what I needed and wanted to become. I knew this was what would help me do the Program right the first time and stay sober. I spent as much time around Steve as possible those 14 days in treatment. I asked questions, asked for guidance and support, which I got back in spades! Steve would always take time out of his workday in order to talk with me and see how I was doing. Very few staff members would do this on a consistent basis. He genuinely cared about my progress and about me. He would ask questions, provide feedback, and help me find my Higher Power.
Steve was totally and unselfishly kind in finding the time he did for me. I therefore owe him much credit to my being sober while writing this letter. I know there are many other patients he would be working with also. He really saved my sanity and continued to work with me with respect, humor, and insight. I do not think I would be in the place I am today if it wasn’t for Steve, and for that I am truly grateful.
I am very happy to write this letter to the Lighthouse and Steve. Everyone was well trained, kind, patient, and helpful. When you are in as much pain as I was, it is reassuring to be in a rehab facility like the Lighthouse. It will never be forgotten and I will recommend you to anyone in need of help.
Thank you again from the bottom of my heart for the care and guidance I received.
Best regards to you, your staff and especially to Steve.
Ryan
